Important Physical and Mental Development Activities For Toddlers

Today I will discuss toddler’s growth with essential physical & mental activities that improve your child’s physical and mental health.  First, I will tell you how physical activities improve your health so if you are exercising and physical games your body releases chemicals like serotonin that improve your mood. If you are busy with physical activity, you are away from negative thoughts. Try these toddler’s physical & mental activities to make him / her stand out.

Now I am discussing the five activities for your toddler that improve the four aspects I discussed first 

Gardening 

Gardening is a fun and interesting activity for toddlers. In this activity the child learns most of the things like caring for trees, and how a seed turns into a big tree. In this activity, a child improves cognitive skills, physical fitness, and physical competencies.

In this activity first I will show you a picture of where my child works.

Now what you see, it is a baby’s kitchen means no harm to a child. Maybe you notice in your child, a child’s first love is a mother. The child learns all the activities his mother performs in front of him like cleaning and working in the kitchen. 

In this activity, he works in an independent way like his mother. So here improves all four aspects cognitive skill, physical fitness, personal abilities, and competencies. 

Making a sandwich 

In this, first, you see a picture.

Notice in the first picture toddler sees all the ingredients of a sandwich like bread and vegetables etc. Then you only guide your child on how to assemble verbally. Do not help him with your hands. May he make a mistake but finally he learns how to make a sandwich. In this activity, your child improves also the four aspects of fine motor skills, creativity, leadership, communication, and all others. 

Playing with blocks  

This activity is the most famous and favorite among toddlers. First, you will give a block and notice what they do After the child explores all the blocks you will sit and play. Then normally guide small things make like box etc. 

After sometimes your child will make complex things independently. In this activity, the child improves all aspects I explained before.

Traffic rules and run a Scotty 

In this activity you see a road and traffic rules and a child runs a scotty. So, your child learns all the traffic rules. Also, learn to run Scotty independently. 

Conclusion  

I was explaining the activities that improve children’s cognitive skills, personal qualities, physical competencies, and physical fitness. After all this your child is a child so do not expect you to guide only one time and him to perform as you want. Be patient and play with him and you learn automatically what are your strengths and weaknesses and how you overcome them.
