Dos and don’ts of the first trimester of pregnancy; 

          Having a baby is the most sensitive and joyous time in the life of a woman. Women have a lot of experience and excitement during this time. but if it is your first time then you must know about the dos and don’ts of the first trimester of pregnancy.          The first thing you need to do is to make sure you’re pregnant either by a stick test or clinical test.

       Schedule a visit with your doctor as soon as possible. you will cover a lot of things in the first appointment. The doctor will take a full medical history and will talk to you about your lifestyle and health habits. They will figure out your due date (expected delivery date). You will also have urine tests and blood tests. 

Genetic issues tests  

             Learn what other tests you may need such as tests to look for the genetic issues of your baby. 

Taking vitamins 

       Start taking a vitamin with at least 400 micrograms of folic acids. This will help in the brain development of the baby. 

Good diet 

Take a look at your diet and make sure that you and your baby are getting enough nutrition. 

Drink a lot of water 

      During the pregnancy keep hydrating yourself.  drink a lot of water. 

exercises 

You can do light exercises to ease yourself. 

Don’t s of the first trimester 

         There are certain things you need to avoid during the first phase of your pregnancy. 

Don’t smoke 

       Do not smoke or even try to stay away from a smoker because cigarettes contain carcinogens that could damage your and your baby’s health. 

Avoid alcohol 

     Do not drink alcohol at all because there is no amount of alcohol that is considered safe to drink during pregnancy. 

Uncooked food  

     Do not eat uncooked or raw meat because it can cause severe damage to your baby. 

Hot bathtub 

 Do not visit a hot tub bath because it can cause dehydration which is not good.
